The Breath of God

THE BREATH OF GOD

  • The Hebrew word for breath is RUACH which means
  • In Greek word for breath is PNEUMA which translates Spirit. It was the breath of GOD that hovered overed over the lifeless void, the breath that animated the dark waters with a life it had not yet known.
  • Which means that when GOD shows up in a situation its with the unstoppable power of the Holy Spirit with him.
  • Gods’ breath is a giving of God’s life. The giving of God’s breath suggests a reflection of his likeness.

TYPES OF BREATH,

  1. The first breath that brought humanity.
  2. The second breath that redeemed humanity from sin.
  3. The third breath that continues to shape the course of human history as we know it.
  4. GENESIS 2;7 Then the lord God took dust from the ground and made a man. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nose, and the man became a living thing.
  • God is a creator. He created you and me in our mother” womb.
  • Gives life through his breath and we are living.

When man sinned trouble, problems, disease, hunger, wars. Name it. Came in but

  1. John 3; 16 For God loved the world so much, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall, not perish/lost, but have eternal life.
  • God wants us to have life on earth and eternal life.
  • We received salvation through Jesus Christ our lord and savior.
  • Christians sometime needs to breath but unfortunately, some people genuinely struggle with breathing.
  • In the life of a believer we live by Faith, Hope and Love.
  • Faith sometimes decreases and hope is lost. And when hope is gone life becomes meaningless. That is when we need the breath of God.
  1. 20;19-22 the day was Sunday, that same evening the followers were together, they had the doors locked because were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly Jesus was standing there among them. He said peace. He showed them his hands and his side. They were all happy

 

Then he breathed on them and said receive the HOLY SPIRIT.

 

Faith was restored and hope, they received power and life because of the breath.

 

  1. John; 16:7 Let me assure you, it is better for you that I go away. I say this because when I go away, I will send the helper (Holy Spirit) to you. But if I didn’t go, the helper would not come. (John.14; 26)   the Holy Spirit will make to remember whatever I have told you{taught you}.

 

  1. 6;63. it is the Holy Spirit that gives life. The body is of no value for that but things I have told you are from the Spirit.

When we receive The holy spirit it’s through the breath of God, we have life and power.

  1. Job 33:4 (NIV). The Spirit of God has made me; the Breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Amidst every challenge, the suffering JOB went through he glorified the Spirit of God and his Breath for life.

What are you going through.

God is a creator, promise keeper, healer, miracle worker his Breath is enough for your condition.

 

In troubles, problems, sickness, loss, divorce, financial difficulties Lost relationships, stress, depression, mental health, broken    families, Prostitution, drug addiction,  Name it. 

Ask for the breath of God it will give you new life.

RECEIVING YOUR BREATH.

  1. Close your eyes. BREATHING IN AND OUT.

Each breath that we take is a gift from the source of all breaths……….

 

TAKE  in A DEEP BREATH…..and then let it out. With each breath………

You can connect yourself to the source….

As you breath in ……… receive your breath from the source……….

As you breath out ……. Return your breath to the source….

God is only a breath away………….
